Grandparent's Day for the After-School Program
The students of our After-School Program prepared a meal for grandparents/seniors to celebrate Grandparent's Day on Saturday, October 14th, 2006. This event brought everyone closer by showcasing what children can accomplish when given a chance to be respectful and appreciative to the senior members of the community.
Our students prepared the food under the instruction of our Culinary Arts Instructor, Mrs. Charlotte. The students were also responsible for setting up the tables and making sure that everyone was seated. As soon as everyone was comfortably seated, the students served the meals according to table assignments. The function was a success and a great time was had by all!
